  • Best Accommodation

The award for best accommodation recognises excellence in youth accommodation in the United Kingdom based on the following criteria: commitment to improving products and services to meet market needs, providing accommodation that stands out in the market, examples of excellence across business practices, commitment to health, safety, accessibility, and the environment. This title “has been something we’ve been striving hard towards for the past year,” says Swiss Cottage’s General Manager Titus Wilson.

This year the finalists include last year’s winner, Clink Hostels (Clink 78), a youth hostel in Kings Cross, alongside Kingswood Learning & Leisure (Dearne Valley), an outdoor education and adventure centre, and Palmers Lodge Swiss Cottage.

  • Best Customer Service

Awarded to an organisation that demonstrates excellence in customer service, this award is given to organisations that stand out among their competition due to their commitment to exceed expectations. Strong customer service strategies and key objectives allow for companies to excel in this category. Being chosen as a finalist for this category “reflects all our staff’s hard work and dedication over the past year to ensure that our guests are given the best service during their stay,” commented Wilson.

Alongside Palmers Lodge, this year’s finalists include Smaller Earth, a global gap year, volunteering and travel program company, and St Christopher’s Inn, a backpacker and budget hostels organisation in the UK and Europe.

We are happy to announce that Palmers Lodge have placed second in the best accommodation category and first in best customer service for the second year in a row as voted by an expert panel of judges.

“We’re thrilled to be recognised for all of our hard work this past year on providing our customers with the best experience possible and to have the opportunity to compete against all of these strong competitors,” says Nico Campodonico, Sales and Marketing Manager of Palmers Lodge.

Congratulations to all the nominees and winners!
