“Once has it all. Heart. Soul. Beauty. Comedy & perfect, perfect music!” (said officialtheatre.com)
And that is so true! This show, which is a musical story and a concert all in one, celebrates the power of music, love and friendship and is a very good mixture of funny and emotional moments. The songs and the voices are great.
AND: This musical dares to be different. The cast also serves as the orchestra. Exiting cast members step to the side of the stage and sit down. The simplicity of the story and the production keeps the focus on the music and the acting.
So all in all it is a feel good show for young and old with a lot of charm and air of sweet melancholy which dazzles with invention! Simply great!
