Great stay, location and value for money I booked months in advance for a double room with en-suite for 1 night so I was able to get a brilliant room rate. The room was not carpeted and it had creaky floorboards however the bed was really comfortable and there was a courtesy tray with coffee, tea, milk and sugar. Towels and shower gel were provided. Amazing building. Great location. Very homey feeling. Rooms are very spacious. The only bad things is the banging doors. They should fix that. In a 28 people dorm having a door that keeps banging every time is open is such an issue when it comes to sleeping at night. The rest was pretty good. Very clean.
Great hostel It was my first hostel stay and I am pleased. Staff are friendly, the facilities are great and clean, the bed was comfy. Near Swiss Cottage and Finchley Road stations, really handy! There is a Tesco really close by too. Overall pretty great, recommend. :)
Loved the stay. Quality vs price ok. Delicious breakfast. Polite people. Near to the underground. Clean and staff very helpful. I hope to come back again. Thank you.
Palmers, Swiss Cottage, hospitality 5 stars I am a solo traveller in my later years and have rested in many hostels and hotels around the world. Palmers Swiss lodge, Swiss Cottage, London, was one of the best stays I've experienced in recent years. The staff were helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about how to get around locally and within the greater London area itself. The breakfast is superb (and so cheap for London). The staff were helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about how to get around locally and within the greater London area itself. The breakfast is superb (and so cheap for London). The building has a naturally relaxing atmosphere. Check the photos on Palmers website they capture the beauty of this listed building. The travel links into London central are really close by the hostel. Bus stops are 2 minutes walk and tube station at Finchley Road is only 5 minutes. If you have to catch the airport bus to Gatwick or Luton the stop is signed CL, just to the left of the tube station. I have to give Palmers 5 stars. Highly recommend a stay here. More read less
Lovely accomodation I only stayed for one night but I loved the old building vibe. Cozy bunkbeds with everyone’s own curtains, very nice! Bathrooms were quite clean and the employee friendly so all in all I recommend
